〜「きたまりダンス食堂」のこれまで〜

ダンサー・振付家のきたまりが、次にどんな音楽／演奏が流れてくるかわからない状態でダンスに立ち向かう、完全即興を己に課す場。UrBANGUILDの食堂ライブ企画として、2018年10月から2020年3月まで計8回開催。

2018年10月に行ったvol.1は3日間。day1 ヨース毛 (cello) / day2 宮嶋哉行 (violin) / day3 ryotaro (acc, synth)と、日毎に異なるUrBANGUILDゆかりのミュージシャンと切り結ぶ1時間のセッション。

2019年1月に臨んだvol.2は、自身のiPodからランダムに流れてくる楽曲と無音の時間を織り交ぜておよそ1時間半。

2019年4月のvol.3は、選曲にryotaroを迎え2時間。

2019年7月のvol.4は原田忍による選曲で2時間半。

2019年10月のvol.5では東京デスロック・演出家の多田淳之介の選曲で3時間。

2020年1月のvol.6では木ノ下歌舞伎主宰の木ノ下裕一選曲による3時間半。

2020年3月のvol.7はフィナーレとしてvol.1でセッションした3人のミュージシャン[ヨース毛 (cello)、宮嶋哉行 (violin)、 ryotaro (acc, synth)] を招き、完全即興のダンスと演奏を4時間。

そんな「きたまりダンス食堂」を、UrBANGUILDのイベント開催が復活した際にスペシャル篇として実施します。今回は、そのスペシャル篇の選曲券を販売いたします。選曲券をご購入いただいた方が自由に選んだ楽曲できたまりが踊ります。優しい曲、手ごわい曲、どんな曲でも結構です。

一緒にUrBANGUILDのイベントに参加する心持ちでご購入いただければ幸いです。

振付家・ダンサー・「KIKIKIKIKIKI」主宰。
映画、民族芸能、クラシック音楽まで、あらゆる素材からダンスを創作し、形骸化した身振りの再考や、楽曲分析を土台とした細かな振付、ジャンルの枠にはまらない踊りを特徴とする。016年よりグスタフ・マーラーの全交響曲を振付するプロジェクトを開始し、同プロジェクト2作目『夜の歌』で文化庁芸術祭新人賞（2016年度）を受賞。

UrBANGUILDで初めて踊ったのは2007年の12月、以後これまでに30回以上お世話になっています。

Kitamari will dance to music you select.

One ticket is equivalent to one minute of music. You can buy as many tickets as you want.
Please bear in mind that the date of the performance will be decided by UrBANGUILD.
You can first decide which music you want to play and buy, or buy tickets first and then decide the music. Details of the event will be sent to each purchaser by email as soon as the date is confirmed . You will need to prepare the music data and send it to the person in charge.

If your music length is some seconds extra, please buy another minute if it’s over 30 seconds. You don’t have to buy another minute if it’s less than 30 seconds. (See the following examples)

“Kitamari Dance Shokudou” is a series of improvisation sessions in which Kitamari, a dancer and choreographer, has been challenging herself to dance tomusic without knowing what will be played next. It was held 7 times from October 2018 to March 2020 at UrBANGUILD as “Ur Shokudo Live”.

Vol.1 was held for three days in October 2018. Day 1 Yo-suke (cello)/ Day2 Saikou Miyajima (violin)/ Day 3 ryotaro (acc, synth). She crossed swords with UrBANGUILD’s regular musicians. Each session lasted for one hour.
Vol.2 in January 2019, she improvised for one hour and a half to the music randomly played from her own iPod as well as silence.
Vol.3 in April 2019, improvised for two hours tomusic selected by ryotaro.
Vol.4 in July 2019, improvised for two hours and a half hour tomusic selected by Shinobu Harada.
Vol.5 in October 2019, improvised for three hours to music selected by Junnosuke Tada, a director of Tokyo Deathlock.
Vol.6 in January 2020, improvised for three hours and a half to the music selected by Yuich Kinoshita, the leader of Kinoshita Kabuki.
Vol.7 in March 2020, improvised for four hours with musicians she improvised with in Vol.1, Yo-suke (cello), Saikou Miyajima, ryotaro (acc, synth).

The coming Vol.8, will be held as a special version to raise money to support the venue UrBANGUILD. For this event, “Ticket to Select Music” in total of 270 minutes are on sale in the #Keep UrBANGUILD Project.

Kitamari will dance to music selected by people who buy “Ticket to Select Music for Kitamari Dance Shokudou”.

[PROFILE]

Kitamari started dancing under the butoh dancer Masami Yurabe at the age of 17, and since 2003 he has presided over his own 〈dance company KIKIKIKIKIKI〉. Graduated from　the Department of Visual and Performing Arts , Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2006.
She also won the New Artist Award at the Agency for Cultural Affairs National Arts Festival in 2016 for 『Nachtmusik』 a part of her series of dances for all of Mahler’s Symphonies.
And, works based on traditional Japanese performing arts such as Kinoshita Kabuki 『 Musume-dojoji』which is shown solo for 60 minutes using Nagauta, and 『ATAGO』 which is a nationally designated important intangible cultural property and co-starring with the music of Saga Dainenbutsu Kyogen. Also, he is developing a wide range of activities that transcend genres, such as 『We dance Kyoto 2012』and 『Dance Fanfare Kyoto』program directors.
